Adriana Luna
Programs Coordinator
Ms. Luna has been an Upward Scholars student since 2019. In Mexico, Adriana earned a bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Autonomous University of Hidalgo, Mexico. After migrating to the United States, she began studying English at Sequoia Adult School. She continued her studies at the College of San Mateo, where she is pursuing an English degree. Ultimately, Ms. Luna wants to transfer to a university and pursue a master's degree to show her community that it is possible. She is passionate about promoting the power of education and supporting adult immigrants from low-income households who want to continue their studies.
